FAST EXTRA is a flexible adhesive mortar intended for fixing ceramic, porcelain, clinker and stone tiles natural stone (resistant to discoloration) and stone imitation on rigid and deformable surfaces inside and outside buildings. The surfaces can be: concrete, hollow bricks, brick, cement and cement-lime plaster, cement and anhydrite screed, drywall and gypsum-fiber boards, floors with underfloor heating and surfaces covered with foil or waterproofing mortar. Due to its high flexibility, it can also be used for laying tiles on balconies and terraces with a slope of > 2%.
FAST EXTRA adhesive mortar is a dry mineral mixture, modified with polymer resins, enriched with polypropylene fibers, frost-resistant and waterproof, with increased flexibility and adhesion, suitable for deformable surfaces.

The surface should be even, strong and dry, free from all kinds of contaminants that would reduce the adhesion of the mortar, i.e. dust, lime, grease, remains of old paint coatings. In order to increase adhesion and eliminate dust, surfaces should always be primed with FAST GRUNT U or FAST GRUNT G.
The product can be used on the following surfaces:
CAUTION
Heated cement and anhydrite screeds should be pre-heated before installing the tiles.
Pour about 7.5 liters of water per 25 kg of dry product into the container and add the contents of the bag, stirring until the consistency of a homogenous paste is obtained. Leave for about 10 minutes and mix again before use (do not add water). The mortar prepared in this way is usable for a period of 2.5 to 3 hours. During work, the adhesive mortar should be stirred periodically every 30 minutes. The tiles should not be soaked in water prior to laying. Start laying the tiles by applying a layer of glue to the surface with the flat side of the trowel, and then
collecting the excess with the comb side. The thickness of the teeth on the trowel depends on the type and size of the tiles.
It should be remembered that the size of the surface on which the adhesive mortar is to be applied should allow us to properly install the tiles before the open drying time expires. If the mortar stops sticking to hands during work, it means that the time has been exceeded and it is necessary to remove the mortar and replace it with fresh one. Please note that to ensure adequate adhesion, the adhesive mortar should cover at least 65-70% of the tile surface. In the case of laying stoneware or stone tiles, floors, places exposed to intensive use and high
humidity, the tiles should be installed using the combined method, i.e. in addition to applying the adhesive to the surface, the adhesive must be applied to the reverse side of the tiles. This method of application ensures 100% contact between the tile and the surface ensuring the best grip. The tiles should not be butt jointed. The size of the joint should depend on the dimensions of the tiles.
Depending on the temperature and relative air humidity, the joint can be applied after not less than 48 hours from laying the tiles. The works should be carried out in dry conditions with air and surface temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. Fresh claddings should be protected against unfavorable weather conditions until they are dry.
The glue obtains its full operational load resistance after min. 14 days from application. The underfloor heating can be started after min. 14 days from installing the tiles.
dry cement mixture with mineral fillers, modified with synthetic polymers
about 7.5 l of water for 25 kg of dry product
Store in factory-sealed packages, in dry rooms at a temperature of + 5°C to + 25°C. The shelf life is 12 months.
The product is irritant and contains cement, becomes alkaline after mixing with water. While working, avoid direct contact with the skin and protect the eyes. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep away from children.
