Surface preparation

The surface must be dry, clean and free from dust and grease. Glossy surfaces must be matted before painting. Repair/fill in all defects and imperfections of the surface and prime them before painting. Remove old, peeling, flaking paint and then prime it with a deep penetrating agent FAST GRUNT G. Nicotine, oil, and run-off stains should be covered with FAST ISOPRO paint. Prime fresh plasters, coats and plasterboards with FAST GRUNT U.
Other raw, absorbent surfaces also need to be primed in advance.

The paint can be used on the following surfaces:

  • cement and cement-lime plasters (after a minimum of 28 days from the date of implementation and humidity not higher than 4%)primed with FAST GRUNT U or FAST GRUNT F.
  • concrete (after more than 28 days from execution and with humidity not higher than 4%) primed with FAST GRUNT U or  FAST GRUNT F
  • gypsum surfaces (humidity below 1%) primed with FAST GRUNT U or FAST GRUNT F

Preparation and usage method

Mix the contents of the package to ensure the uniformity of the product. Do not thin with water. Do not paint in conditions of high air humidity. Apply when the ambient temperature and the temperatures of the surface to be painted is between +10°C and +25°C. When purchasing more than one package of the same color, mix the contents of the packages to make the color uniform. In the case of colors marked as poorly covering and intense in the system, use a FAST GRUNT F primer of a similar color. If you expect there is not enough product to finish the work, finish on the corner or contours of the painted surface. Apply the product using a suitable roller, brush or spray.
Paint  thoroughly,  evenly  applying  a  similar  amount  of  product  to  a  specific  area  of  the  wall  each  time,  and  finish  with  a  gentle  vertical movement in one direction. The paint should be applied in two layers. The next layer should be applied after at least 2 hours. Ensure proper ventilation of the room during painting and drying of the product.

 AFTER PAINTING

Remove as much paint as possible from the painting tools (roller, brush) before proceeding to washing them in warm soapy water. Wipe up spilled paint immediately with a damp cloth.

Instructions for the use of the paint coating

The paint coating acquires its full functional properties (scrub resistance/washability) after complete hardening, i.e. after 28 days from the end of painting.

Cleaning of surfaces finished with a coating of latex paint should be carried out with a cloth, sponge or soft brush soaked in water or with an alcohol-free detergent, e.g. dishwashing liquid or soap. This method enables the removal of stains from the paint without the risk of their shining or abrasion of the coating.
To remove dirt, agents containing chlorine or bleaches should not be used as they may discolor pigments contained in the paint. During washing, avoid excessive force and prolonged friction as they may damage the coating.

CAUTION

Please note that the manufacturer ensures the stain resistance of ARCHITECT 300 paint on smooth surfaces. The paint is not stained with ketchup, crayon, lipstick, coffee, tea or wine stains, provided that the stains are removed within no more than 15 minutes.

Removing stains/dirt from rough, uneven surfaces may be difficult.

USE

Depending on the type of substrate, ARCHITECT 300 consumption is from 0.07 to 0.12 l / m² on the layer.
